"JIGGED PALAVER”

800Palaver-Jigged-Left-Profile.jpg

The Palaver was designed in response to a discussion with an professional hunting guide about how he uses knives in cold weather...specifically for field dressing, skinning, and camp chores while wearing gloves. He wanted a nice wide blade and a recessed handle to make it easy to control and safe to use when your hands are cold. Now of course I made certain that it was 100% comfortable with or without gloves for year ‘round use. He tested four of them this past season and loved them. He claims that they are all he's going to order for his guys for next year’s hunting season.

That is a wonderful design. That is certainly a knife that could do it all.

Barry - thanks for the arrival notification and I'm glad you're pleased.

I still have it's kid brother the "Palaver 2" available. Although the P2 has finger 'ledges' the overall feel is the same. Maybe you can let folks know how it feels in the hand, i.e. balance, weight and overall feel - and while you're at it, your thoughts on the sheath.;):D

I'd appreciate it my friend. "It's hard out there for a pim"....uh...knifemaker. :p
