Jigging-big' n bold or neat and precise?

My mistake. Oh well, I guess jigging is what the maker and seller calls it.

I'm not sure if it's big and bold or neat and precise but I find this close to perfect.
Hello to all. Here is another knife that I will be taking to the 2013 Blade Show. It is a Remington HHT 293 trapper. It is the first time I make it in a 4" version. The knife is 4" closed, blades are CPM154, pivot bushing, integral liners and bolsters, stainless steel washers instead mill relief for cleaner look . The pull on this knife is about a 6 on scale of 1 to 10, supper nice action and the springs and liners are as tight and flush as can be. Thanks for looking.

I like it all to a point.... What I don't like to see is jigging that looks like it is a machined pattern. A little off is a good thing. I also like the random stuff.

Some great pic's!

I think perversely for jigging to work it either has to have a uniformity which almost makes the material look artificial (Enrique Pena excels at this) or it has to create a blending texture that gives the bone a new natural form (dyeing is an important factor too).

A couple of my fav's

I like the way GEC have made the jigging echo the shape of the frame on this #92

Keith's is somehow natural but precise at the same time!
