I wanted to start this thread for an up and coming Oklahoma maker, Jim Dunlap. I met Jim in Tulsa a few years ago where he had a table of his custom knives. I have gotten to know him and have ordered some custom knives from him that I will post here in this thread in the coming weeks.

First I will show you a few pieces I picked up off his table before I ordered the special customs he has built for me. John has taken these pictures and I think you will see the quality of Jim’s work.

That's a beautiful knife Chuko, I can't wait to see more! I picked this one up at Blade last year. It's one of his simpler ones, but everything about it is first rate.

Beautiful knives and beautiful pictures by John. I believe I am on Jim's build list once he returns from the Blade show. Looking forward to having one of his knives.

I remember seeing that one go up for sale and missing it. That combination of a thin knife, dark micarta, and red liners makes for a gorgeously clean look.

I have this model. I've had it for awhile but I can't bring myself to carry it.

That is a nice one Joe. Understand why it might be hard to put it in your pocket. I have the same problem as I am more of a collector and limit my EDC to a few knives. Here is a small muskrat single spring I got from Jim. He described it as a real challenge to build and he wasn't fully happy with it. I on the other hand love it, and it is a great addition to my muskrat collection.

Gorgeous scales Chuko.....very nice indeed. I'd be pretty happy with that too.

Beautiful work! That is all I can add...

Chuko - those are both terrific. Keep me in mind if you move them. :)

Esnyx - no pics...least for me.

Am not normally a shadow / linerless fan but this blue carbon fiber has a glimmer that grabbed my eye. After carrying it a bit the slimness and lightweight has grown on me. 3 3/8" OAL

Grinds, fit and finish, cover choices, all look to be top shelf. Thanks for sharing. Superb pics as always, John.
