Here is a really cool sword! Made by Jim Hrisoulas. You may know him as the author of The Complete Bladesmith books. It is a real working sword ready for battle with the Black Knight or the next zombie invasion! Blade steel is 5160 and the blade is sharpened. Fittings are brass or bronze and the handle material is wood. Looks like Rosewood or Cocabola to me. Overall it is 38 5/8in. Blade is 31 3/4long tip to handle and is made from 1/4in stock. Now here is the rub on this piece......someone in it's past took horrible care of it and allowed a few areas to rust and pit. I cleaned a lot of it up but there are still some visible areas of pit damage. The worst of it is in the pic. No structural damage just cosmetic. Sorry for the crappy pics. This sword is a bear to photograph. If you are looking for a working sword you won't find better at this price. I am asking $300***SOLD*** shipped in CONUS OBO.
