Thanks and you know it is sharp Roland, that is the easiest part of knife making but one of the first thing a client checks when handling a knife. Bill Burke has a way of expressing how sharp a knife is but not sure it would go over well on the forum.

Jim, thanks for reply, and yes as a buyer of custom knives, i like to rely on the maker to put a better, sharper edge than i ever could. but not all customs, folders or FBs come that way. that's why i asked. i knew the answer, but thought you should also state that in your description because it is so important to most buyers.

Hey Ozrab, i bet you're going to be pleasantly surprised when you get this one.
i recently bought a FB from Jim and it's a much better knife than i ever expected for the price. and sharp too !
i think Jim's price list must be about 20 years old. but at least we benefit !

Nice Folder Jim. I dont recall you making folders but this one looks so good it cant be your first.

Thanks Bruce, when we were at the Eugene show 4 or 5 years ago the folders were not up to my expextations. Since then I have consuled with Grant and Gavin Hawks along with Bill Burke. Three very patient teachers.

You must be good student. I cant recall the Hawks team but I know Bill Burke and respect his work highly.
Cant wait to see the next folder from you.

I know Roland - a custom lockback for that price - you just don't see it - not often, not at all!!!! Just dumb luck - I guess.
