Jim Shockey Signature Series Ibex Knife??

Just curious to know if any of you guys have used or handled one of these Cabela's Shockey Ibex knives....12C27M blade steel...and a Paperstone handle...I kinda wish it had a pocket clip

I like that knife myself, but the price is too much for me. I wish the would offer the other paperstone models in black.

Looks like the web special with a shockey cutout and no thumbstud. Well that may be unfair. It looks like an interestingly finished blade-what is it? Certainly not a Protege blade. Pic looks like a cross between a Damascus and a bead blasted.

Hmmm...a few bucks more and you can get an S30V AG-110...now let me think...
