  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I had better try to get one soon;) Thanks Scott!

Hi All,

Well I'm still waiting........Did anyone besides Scott receive the one they ordered from Buck? Looks like the custom shop can take your order...build your knife and ship it to their customers faster that the rest of the shop???? Anyone from Buck care to comment on this???

Mine came yesterday....whew.....and razor sharp. Has the 2007 year stamp and the sheath even has a 651 tag on it.

Mine showed a few days after the order was placed, John. Oh what a knife!!!! I love it! Thanks to Jimmer5 and heng em and Pete Mason for making this all happen! I have not left it alone since opening the box and EDC it constantly! I will not forsake my beloved 124s but this is, as 'Goose would say, "too cool for school"! *May be habit-forming...:)

Well Folks,

As I was as impertinent as a little kid waiting for Xmas day to arrive....the UPS guy dropped off a nice box!!! "Yippy Kai Yea" I need to take some of my own advice....Good things come to those who wait!!! Here are a few photo's; If you don't have one on the way better order 1 or 2 ASAP.

Oh and I got a nice surprise in my box was an 08 catalog ;). Now I know what some of the 08 LE's are going to be!!!!!

Very cool JB. Great pics too. I really need to order one of these....

Anything new/interesting in the 08 Catalog?

Hi Messy,

Yes there are some very cool knives in the 08 catalog....this is one of the short catalogs that you may find at a retail outlet. Any way...I see that the Gen 5 has made it to the regular production line with two different offerings. In addition, there is also another 005LE. I wont go into much detail...However, there is new tactical type knives, some new slippys, some new fillet knives, and a boat load of 08 LE's....I know for sure the Rams horn Duke 500 will be on my must buy list.

Thanks JB. I was hoping the Gen5 would be a regular offering. Can't wait to see it as well as the new tacticals.

I better order that 651 before I get distracted..... lol

I am happy to hear this! I heard that rumor last year (that there would be more variations), but wasn't sure that the Gen 5 went over that well for the price!
It will be great to pick up one of each of the new models! Maybe one will even be a user!????!!

It just arrived , Intruder Pig Sticker...WOW...what a blade!!!!!! Here it is between a 119 & a 120

Scott, I saw you call this thing an Intruder Pig Sticker but didn't realize until a few minutes ago when I was playing with the box, that its the name printed on the label.

I had wondered on and off what "name" had been attached to this monster.

Heading to the ranch tomorrow. May get in some hog hunting. Will carry one along, but haven't figured out just yet how to go about this pig sticking :rolleyes::D. But however, rest assured it will be AFTER the critter is on the ground.

Wait for the dogs to get on the hog good, then just step in with a hard thrust and stick it just behind its shoulder ;)...sounds easy enough:D Of coarse, you may want to just sling some lead, either way, Good Luck and have fun!!!

Geeze,,,only dog I have is a 6lb chihuahua....

Have a couple 30 rounders loaded up... One of the kids said there were bout 30 running together.... probably internet count...lol...

Maybe that leg tie on the pig sticker is there for a reason..

I'd seen these advertised here in New Zealand as a special regional model and even saw one in store yesterday!! Designed for the classic kiwi bloke who likes to hunt feral pigs the real HARD way (grab the rear leg and stab into chest, whilst bailing dogs keep hog occupied).

Its an impressive looking knife and will sure be a big seller for its "looks". A darn site less expensive than the Fallkniven "Mine Clearance" knife with a similar blade profile.

No ordinary "Nighthawk"!

Wish I had seen this thread earlier... I just received this Buck Nighthawk on growth hormones. Although the 'normal' large "Nighthawk" is 11 1/4" in OAL, this limited run "Nighthawk" seems to be just shy of 13" in OAL. This one has its own special nylon sheath as well as its own product code. Nice rubberized handle inserts and rubberized thumb ramp, too. Nice comfortable handle! Now I have to find a pig to stick!
