Stand clear of this man, He mostly sells junk but I was stupid enough to bid on one of his neck knives and now I am paying for it. First I bid, won and paid via PayPal. 11 days go by with no response so I filed a complaint with PayPal and left him a neg. feedback. 10 minutes later I recieve a refund, 20 min. later one of my auctions ended with buy-it-now. It was him!! He paid via paypal, I mailed package with delivery confirmation the next day. 4 days later I get a Neg. Feedback on Ebay saying item not as described, a complaint with PayPal saying not as described and a Fruad complaint filed with Square One. Its more than clear he bought this item just to give him a tool to retaliate. So Be carefull and STAY CLEAR OF HIM. That little neck knife wasn't worth all this trouble.

Sorry to hear about your bad deal. I steer clear of ebay because they can't weed the fools and cheaters out as quickly as the forums can.

Hope you found a home for the ladyhawk-we almost made a trade for it in the past. Just so you know I finally found a nib one and it is on its way to me right now.

Yeah I found a good home for her. Thanks

I should have known better and checked his feedbacks, He had over 100 Neg. Thing is Ebay never will side with me over a powerseller. Thats were they make there money.

BadGuy: Ebay does not play on a level field.
Is a $15.00 knife or anything else worth the grief? No?
"If you lie with dogs, you will get fleas" Some real winners on Ebay. You ran into a pro a-hole. What a dick.
Move on.Forget the clown.

I believe you can leave a one line respose to negative feedback. You could say something like. "Left retaliatory feedback for his poor porformance." or something to that effect.

Yeah I did that, I left comments to his feedback and a fllow-up to his comments under his feedback. But it still P-sses me off!! This was my first Neg feedback in over a year and a half and my second ever. It looks bad, Plus now I have a complaint with paypal that sticks with you forever. And on top of that another fruad charge with square one, If they took the time and looked that everything that happened, I am sure that they would rule in my favor, But I doubt that they will. Thanks for the support guys, For now one, If I am looking for a knife I can't find on a reputable website, Then I will just look to the fine members here and post under the Want to buy section. Thanks allot guys

What a pisser and thanks for the heads up. Block this bastard from bidding on any more of your auctions. He has probably already done the same.

You are also right that Ebay is not going to do a dang thing about it, and that is really, really sad the way they run that part of their business. Big D1

Big D1 hit the nail on the head. After the first bad experience you should have blocked him from bidding on your items.

How can I cancel an unwanted bid?

Here you go:

Sellers may cancel bids if they have good reason to. Our bid cancellation page shows you how and gives a few examples of valid reasons.

If you do not want to deal with a particular bidder, you can use the Bidder Block feature. This feature allows you to create your own list of eBay members who will no longer be permitted to bid on or purchase any of your listings. Members can be added or removed from this list at your discretion. By placing a User ID on this list our system will block them from placing a bid or completing a Buy-It-Now purchase on your listings. Before blocking a bidder, we recommend that you email him or her and clearly state why you will not accept bids from him or her in the future.

To add or delete a member on your bidder block list, please go to your Blocked Bidder List.

lifter, good info.

BadGuy, it should be under the "My Ebay tab" section. That is where you can manage the items your are selling, bidding, and all of your preference settings.

Ok, it's obvious that both of you guys are going to block each other from bidding on one anothers auctions. If you feel the need to stick him, snipe his butt. Even if you have to lose a few bucks doing it, it might be peace of mind. On the other hand, just let it be water under the bridge. Tough situation either way you turn. Big D1

...for a 'Bad Guy', you don't seem to be too bad....;)

Our one negative was from a suck a$s too...we bought a 'mint' RMK #16 from 'mdblades'...but he'd resharpened it

We emailed for a return, a refund, or something to make it right...2 weeks, and nothing, no response at all. So, we left him a gentle neutral. His reponse? A flaming negative of course, our only one...freaking dick!

So now, once a year, on our 'anniversary', I send him a $hitty email telling him how I look forward to putting out his eyes someday...lol *tleg*

Almost 3 years gone by now, and I still hate that little bastard!

"Forgive and forget? Nah boy, we's Hatfield's" ;)

TBG, you got screwed, for sure. And eBay ISN'T fair, this we've seen again and again.

But 100:eek: negative feedbacks and you didn't even look? First time--shame on him. 100th time.... eBay requires a little easy homework. Let's all pay closer attention.

I wish you better!

Coop

But 100 negative feedbacks and you didn't even look?

I really didn't bother looking, He had a 4220 as his final rating, So I figured, No Problem, Boy was I wrong.

"Forgive and forget? Nah boy, we's Hatfield's"

Hmmm, I have a friend stationed in your hometown(San Digeo) in the Navy named Hatfield. Mel=Chris??? Hmmm  :(

He is a good friend of mine from when I lived in PA, He has made allot of mistakes in his life and is paying for them now. He wrote me a letter and that sentence was in it, It makes allot of sense in many diffrent aspects of life and it stuck with me. Thanks for the intrests

You gotta search the forums! I wish I had come upon this thread earlier. Sorry about the bad experiences.

Personally I thought ebay would be a good way to move knives around and get new ones, though I do buy from established dealers and sites, so with much trepidation I registered a few days ago and put up a knife last night. Here's a thing I thought might prevent this: the Safe Harbor/I escrow thing. Havent read all the details yet, so I'm not doing it, but would this have prevented the bad transaction scenario? Should it be mandatory?

Also, are there other legitimate, good knife deals ever available on ebay? Anyone ever really get a special knife fom someone who didn't know the treasure they really had, or is everybody up to the minute on values?

Again sorry for the bad experience, and i wish I had searched earlier, next time I'l probably do the Iescrow thing.
