Thanks for all the replies. I hope Jimmy's reading this and seeing how people appreciate his work. Doug said it best"organic and elemental".

This model is a Parang, I forgot to put that in my first post. I went back and pulled out my old Fighting Knives magazines and Jimmy showed up more than once. There is one where they interview Jimmy, pretty interesting.

Fikes: You take piece of metal, sharpen it so it has an edge that will cut. That's a knife. From here it just gets more complicated.
