(SOLD) FOR SALE- Jimmy Lile Gent's Folder by Lile Knives/Vaughan Neeley, 440C with Aluminum Handle Scales. These were the folders Jimmy Lile used to include with the original First Blood Knife. Lile Knives under knifemaker Vaughan Neeley produced a small run of these many years ago but no longer produces them. Vaughan Neeley has officially retired from knifemaking and Lile Knives (owned by Jimmy Lile's wife Marilyn Lile and John Hill) is no longer producing knives. So even the Lile/Neeley produced version of this knife is rare.

Regarding the condition, it has never been used. It was new but considered blemished because it was accidently dropped in the Lile/Neeley workshop and the aluminum handle scale at the corner got a small dent in it (see photos). This is also why the aluminum handle scales have some minor scratches in them. The blade however is 100% and has the factory edge on it from the Lile shop. The lockup is very tight.

I am asking $375.00 shipped for the folder, but I am open to any reasonable offer. I will also consider cash plus 12 Gauge Aguila Mini Shell Slugs or Federal 12 Gauge Shorty Slugs, or, cash plus Junk Silver or Gold. This is a chance to own a piece of history that will never be replicated again. Everyone involved with the Lile name has either passed on (Jimmy) or are in their retirement in their 70s and 80s. Serious inquiries only- thanks for looking.

Payment- USPS Money Order or Paypal +3%

How long is the blade. Does it have a half stop? Is there a sheath?

Hi, the blade is 2 1/4" long. No half stop, and these never came with sheaths. Jimmy Lile designed them to be able to fit inside the Rambo First Blood Knives hollow handle. It has a strong spring to prevent the blade from folding once opened, but as I mentioned, no half stop.

Regards,

CW
