jinuineasn agreed to buy a BM 806 from me on October 22. I sent him an email on Oct. 28 asking him about the status of the payment and he said he mailed it on Tuesday (Oct. 24). I sent him another email on Oct. 30 asking him what type of payment he sent and where he sent it from. I've received no response.

I'm not out anything but my time and I have since sold the 806 to another forum member. This is just a warning to fellow forumites to not take jinuineasn seriously if he offers to buy your knife. He goes by Bradley Yan and his email address is bradyan7ATyahooDOTcom.

:thumbdn: I stuck a deal with the same guy over the same knife previous to Slatts deal with him. First we exchanged info and he told me he'd ship the MO the following day so I packaged the knife up and waited. The next day I get a call from the guy (who I gave my cell # to just in case he had any last minute questions about shipment so I wouldn't have to get online that day) and he asks me if the knife is brand new with original sale receipt and if I can meet him halfway between his house and mine to prove that it is new. Being a working guy that happens to go to school and have better things to do than drive an hour to show a guy a knife to prove my honesty (which would be an affront to anyone of integrity) I declined and instead sent him pictures the following morning. This pissed me off because he'd already told me that he was going to send payment that morning and I passed up someone elses offer to buy the knife in order to honor his. The day after I sent the pictures he proceeds to assure me that he'll take the funds out of the bank the next day and finally send them. After 2 days of no confirmation and no money order I email him asking what the hell was going on and that I was going to end the deal and sell to someone else if he hadn't already sent the money order. The next day or so I receive an email from the guy saying that he doesn't have the money and the deal is off and that he was sorry for wasting my time. I HAD TO EMAIL THIS FOOL JUST TO FIND OUT THIS LITTLE MORSEL OF INFO HE'D DECIDED TO WITHOLD!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE DEALS WITH THIS GUY OR EVEN RESPONDS TO HIS OFFERS AND WHAT NOT. HE'LL JUST WASTE YOUR TIME. 2 GUYS HAVE HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE WITH HIM, HE'S QUITE OBVIOUSLY A TURD.:thumbdn:

Wow.

Don't know the guy, but it's endlessly amazing to me that
people pull this sort of sh*t - with forum members, no less

Knowing (you would think) that they're going to get outed & nailed

And here, this guy apparently does it twice!

Another guy with no information or email provided in his profile. I will not deal with people that stay that anonymous.

 Freakin' hilarious in a "he's dumber'n a box of rocks" kind of way. Has he checked gas prices lately? :D

Yes Sir, it's good to know these things.

I'll need to remember how to present a " :jerkit: " of a deal maker.

Matter of fact, Full of HOT air is PERFECT!

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Like pbusby, he alot of questions for me about the condition of the knife. How many ways can you say that something is NIB? I've learned that I can express NIB in about 8 different ways personally. :) He also wanted pics.

In hindsight, I should have told him to buzz off after he played 20 questions with me, but he did commit to buy the knife and I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I guess the next forumite that he approaches will know better if they read this post.

Slatts - I hear ya on that.

When I'm selling anymore I've taken a picture. I may have even taken and posted two or three. I'm done taking pictures at that point.

I don't mind a couple questions, but after that, it's chatter. If you are not satisfied with the condition of the item for sale, you are not compelled to buy it. If you don't agree with my price, you are not compelled to buy it either.

And just don't LIE and tell me the check has been sent - I'm not the gas company and have no time for your bullsh1t - and certainly don't drop out of communication until you're backing down from the deal.

I've no beef at all with guys dropping a note to tell me they think it's really neat and they wish they were not broke. Met a lot of nice fellas here that way.

And I'm even good with a conversation going on in my sale/ trade thread. It keeps the toy for sale fresh.
