GREAT knives I think. Got these a few days ago as part of a passaround. Instead of kitchen work I decided to go with the camp route. I used the fire rod that was supplied with my JK PSK to get the fire started. Spine on the bigger knife work ok for this. Personally I would square it more but thats just me. It split the wood, and shaved it with no problem. Even whittled some with the smaller knife. Used it to trim the bone away. I saved this pork chop from a few days ago just for this. Glad I did. I was starving :) Turned out great all white and juicey. Jk are some of the better knives I have used. No edge damage at all to these. Looking forward to my JK knife I have on order. Anyway enjoy.

Those look good! I've heard good things about stomper's knives. Are thise 3/32"?

Simple foods cooked over a fire always tastes great!

Hi mistwalker -

These are 1/16" (1.5mm) thick - that is one reason that Stomper did not mark these with his K - they are too thin to do so.

I love the thinner knife for kitchen duty -

Great review, caine! Thanks for getting it posted up so quickly!

Mmmm - that chop looks awesome - I concur with mistwaker, simple foods cooked over a campfire always taste the best!

best regards -
