Hello all,

I have designed 4 pocket fixed blade knives and John has kindly agreed to do runs of them. They will all have a 1/8" pin up front and a 1/4" pin at the back, and are made of O1 steel, of course. Email me to order (pahoward@hotmail.co.uk) with preferences (see below.)

Please look over the pictures of my other handle projects so you know what I do HERE and HERE and the ones in this thread before ordering.

Time frame
I'm taking orders as they come, (see list below.) Currently John makes a group at the start of a month that I order, he ships them to me and I get them handled and sheathed and such. I'm planning on a two week trunaround so knifes should be delivery to you within the same month.

Ordering
Chose the design you want below and email me with handle requests (look at pictures of my other handle work if you see something I've done that you like or don't like you can tell me to do it or not do it.)

In the email let me know your choices:

1. Knife thickness:
- either 3/32" thick 01 and 1/8" available
2. Handle material currently in stock:
- Walnut (currently unavailable, looking for more)
- Amendoin (ybarra) wood from Paraguay (?)
- Osage (6)

or
-Send me wood you would like on the knife and take $10 off the total
-If you want something but don't have it ask and I'll get you a quote (usually from $10 to $30 depending on material)
3. Options
- Pins: solid 1/8" brass and copper pins, hollow and solid 1/4" brass and copper pins are available - included in base price
- Mosaic pins - for the 1/8" front - $5
- Liners: Black, Blue, Green, white liners - $10
- A Leather landyard and wooden bead (made form scraps of handle material) - $5
4. Sheath:
- A simple leather pocket sheath is a $15, fold over style
- Pocket clips, for inside right or left pocket carry - $7
- Additional modifications are available - fire steel loops, belt loops etc - email me and we'll work it out, most mods are only $5

Payment
- Payment due when knife is ready to ship to you
- Paypal preferred but if you have to send a money order email me and we'll work it out: Same as my email pahoward@hotmail.co.uk


Price:
-Pocket knife with handle base price is $60 shipped + Options + Sheath = your total
-I will ship internationally but I can not accept responsibility for loss or damage and Buyer must pay the extra shipping

Offers
-Order and pay for another JK knife Design from John after the start date of this thread (I'll confirm with John) and I'll sell you the whole package for $45 (Knife, handle in walnut and brass, sheath.)

Design choices

I've tried to show the basic handle shape i will aim for, but variant is inevitable...and fun. Pre-order and you can make requests about handle shape and contouring.

1. Pocket rocket (we're deciding :p) 4" overall length in 01 steel, scandivex grind, 3/32" thick 2" blade from tip to end of ricasso



2. The Rover 4" overall length in 01 steel, scandivex grind, 3/32" thick 1.75" blade from tip to end of ricasso

I'll get a better picture of rover all finished soon


3. JK Jr Cleaver 4" overall length in 01 steel, scandivex grind, 3/32" thick, 2" blade from tip to end of ricasso



4. JK Pocket King (JK PK) 5" overall length in 01 steel, scandivex grind, 3/32" thick, 2.5" blade from tip to end of ricasso

*We can do more or less then 7 in a group, that's just the number I've been using so far as a base order number*

If you preorder, I can also do them in 1/8" thick stock, no extra charge, but only if you preorder!

Thank's Myke, was hoping to cut the cost down as far as I can but after shipping, materials etc, it was hard, john gave us a heck of a deal on the knives themselves as well!

Hey grunt, I didn't know how to say "If I know you, that's cool" but yeah, I know ya, so you can pay when you like and can if you want, just send me an email and let me know what you want.

So this is a JKKYenglish? Better make the blade longer to fit all of that!
 
Those are some nice looking designs and I hope this works out well for you and John. I also appreciate the mention but I'm no artist. I'm just an old country boy stitching leather.
 
Peter, the only reason I haven't sent an email and preordered is I have my TK coming soon. I want to get that to me first then I can get one of these (and believe me I want one!).

Now the problem is figuring out which model I want! They, honestly, all call to me. It's a tough choice between all four. Great idea btw and I'm glad John thought so too.

no worries, a Tk is a priority, I understand that :)

Edit: John refined the idea out of a rambling suggestion I tried to make, that's why it's good one :)

The ice has been broken, the first order has been placed! Don`t wait to order, the first batch is only 7 knives. (6 left)
 
Put me down for number one. I want to name that bad boy the pocket rocket! Or maybe pocket rocker! Either way. I'll be sending a email shortly sir!
 
I actually kinda like pocket rocker because it looks like it would 'rock' back and forth nicely on the cutting board. ;) :thumbup:
