FarrelHey all,

it's almost that time of year again, are you upset about the Hall of Fame Game being canceled? just board and looking to win some money for a JK knife? Play fantasy football or willing to learn?


This is the check-in thread, the aardvarks have already checked in and I'm in as well. Current teams owners please post to say whether you are in or out this year so I know how many teams we have or how many spots I have to fill.

If 2 new people want to play and everyone still wants in then we can expand to a 12 team league, otherwise I'll keep you on a reserve list,

also feel free to post any problems with the draft date (28th of august at 8pm) and we can start finding the best date to draft.

Everyone else, feel free to post because we all like reading posts :thumbs up:

Here are the details:

- $20 Entry Due before the Draft (currently scheduled for 28th of August)
- Money is held in my paypal account until a winner is announced and then sent to john when the order is due to be paid. (order is worked out with john like any regular knife order)

  • Prize for 1st place is the entire pot towards the winners choice of JK order
  • Prise for 2nd Place is...something nice I find that is knife, flashlight, hiking/camping related
  • Prize for last place is ridicule and scorn and maybe a humiliating token gift of some sort

League is hosted on ESPN
PPR league (point per reception) Redraft
starting line up is: 1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1te, 1 flex, def, kicker 7 bench spots

All owners must be available for the live draft or be able to pre-draft their picks (set a ranking so espn cabn auto draft you)
All owners must set their line up every week until the end fo the season

I was not going to play, but then I saw the very appealing last place prize package and decided that,
THE BELDUQUES ARE IN!
12 teams are ok with me.
Can we consider a two week championship game?

P.S.
The Belduques are moving from San Jose, IL to a new stadium in Goofy Ridge, IL.

I don't mind a 2week championship game, anyone else? We can use week 17.
 
okay, we have one confirmed cancellation so if anyone knows someone who'd liek to play send them our way

Don't let lack of experience be a deterant to anyone that wants to play. Beginners' luck carried me all the way to the trophy last season.

That said, be afraid JK FFL, be very afraid. I've heard the rumors and rumblings that in the deep hollars of Kentucky the Aardvarks have started to gather and a stampede is coming that will crush all that stand in its way.

This does not seem to be filling up as fast as in past years. When does the season start? Maybe giving the winner a choice of the cash instead of a knife would help fill it up?

Maybe, I like the JK themed league though, it's what makes it ours, especially since we trouble your forum with it, john.

I've emailed the last few hold outs, there's a good chance they just haven't see my thread yet.

Season doesn't start until September 8th and there's not much pre-time for it, so we should eb okay.

Draft is scheduled for the 28th but we can move it if we don't fill in time.
 
There is an 8 team option also.
I would rather play for a new JK knife than for cash,
Can the call to action be placed in one of the BF community forums?

You're in on team nane alone lol next week is fine there's no rush. its not due till the season starts anyway and I can work it out even then.
