This is probably the only fixed blade patterned off the Folding Fish/Toothpick style knives.(it is the only one John has made)
I had John make it for me intending it to be my dedicated Desk Knife & it has filled the role perfectly since I've had it.
I've only used it to open mail/packages so it is in like new shape.
I've sharpened it with a ceramic stick a couple of times, otherwise the blade is in perfect shape as are the scales.The marks on the blade in the first pic are just smudges in the renwax.
Though I used it as a desk knife, it'll make a good steak knife or Bird & Trout knife also.
The leather pocket sheath is included.
1/16" thick O1 stock. Yup, it's a slicer alrighty.:thumbup:
OAL is 7 1/2"
Blade from tip to scale is 3 1/2"
Handle is 4"
Scales are Ironwood,with brass liners & 1/8" brass pins.
But it now & I'll throw in the nice old Imperial Fish Knife in the last pic also.
