JK Handmade Knife of the Week

Well I never got to putting up a JKOTW last week - but this week, I am going with something that John did for me (and some might not know he did this kind of thing) - a Buck 112 Ranger with Maple Burl scales and red micarta liners -

I think I did about a dozen handles on Buck knives, but most were micarta. You might have the only two wood ones.

No picture this week - I am going on a short road trip so I will be taking the Firearm Instructor's Companion - the IFSA knife - I posted pictures a couple weeks back -

Well that was an interesting spell!

I am back - I had been carrying the FIK for the last almost a month - at least it has been with me all the time.
This week I pulled out of the big bag of JKs the first knife I ordered from John for myself, my Kephart in maple burl.

It is still in great shape - it has some schmutz on it in these pictures - but it came off with a little soap and rubbing.

Well I finally pulled out the old Defensive Battle Hawk for the week - actually, it is number three of a seires of three that John made.
The original, Number 1, is next to my wife's nightstand and has been for years.
I can't remember off hand which fellow here sold me the number three - but I believe that Cooper Woods has number two -

I don't know what is going on with my posting on this forum - sometimes I put up images with bbcode and links to my server and they are showing broken - and then I sometimes can just paste the image into the pos - but tonight nothing is working for me.

Edit - found out my membership had expired so.....user error. Hopefully fixed now and I added image tags up above.

While the old Bag of JKs is starting to run out of choices, there are still a few left to use....
This week it is the Proud Supporter Knife, mine is number 12.
This one has nice red and black liners, and the frontmost pin is filled with black micarta.
