I posted this in the review forum, but a couple of you over hear asked about this knife so here ya go. Keep in mind I am no Bear the dog;)

First the specs. 5/32" of 01 Steel. Blade is 3" long and the knife goes 6 3/8" overall. The handle is a brilliant 2 tone micarta. Dark brown with a light tan streak on each side.

The name says it all, as soon as I handled it I knew it would be my "EDC". This blade is stout and tuff:eek:. John did an awesome job on the handles as well. It fills my hands perfectly, and would be a pleasure for anyone to use.

If you have a chance to pick up one of Stompers(JK Handmade Knives ) blades, I highly recommend you do. I allready have another on order from him. He's a great guy to work with.

I have been wanting to try my hand in primitive fire making so I decided to carve a bow drill spindle. This EDC made short work of the Basswood. I didn't have much time to play with it today, but I did sneak in a few fuzz sticks as well. Just a pleasure to do with this knife.
Enjoy the pics!

By the way, the sheath is by Ilbruche, brilliant work:thumbup:

Hope that edge works for you. I got to handle it a bit while making the sheath. It's a good little EDC size.
