I love these knives & hate to have to sell them so I hope someone will be able to get good use out of them like I did.
These were my kitchen knives & my most used knives so they have been used & sharpened plenty & have the marks to show it.
I took most of the patinas off with fine scotch-brite so you can age them yourself as some folks like to do.
I did not try to take all the scratches out as these are users meant to be used & I am selling them as such so some scratches from use remain & shouldn't matter IMO..all are well earned.
I also put renwax on the handles to darken & shine 'em up some.

First up is the Improved Bowie,John's rendition of the old Herters Improved Bowie only better.:)
This one I had made from 1/16" stock for slicing and dicing in the kitchen.
The blade is 1" high, O1 steel & is 5 3/16" from tip to scales.
The handle is tan micarta with red liners & is 4 3/4" long with aluminum pins & tube.
Full flat grind with convex edge.
I have tested the toughness of the 1/16" thin stock by splitting some 2x4s for my fireplace & it held up just fine so I have no doubt it'll make a great camp, kitchen and or fishing knife. It do have a little flex being thin, but it handled batoning the 2x4s for kindling no problem.
I wet formed the sheath & gave it a coat of boot waterproofing after drying.(Kiwi Outdoors Water Proof)

$110.00 shipped. SOLD

Sorry for the finger prints on the blade & the blur in the pics.:o

Next is the Toby's Knife, designed by BF member & friend KYenglish and is one of John's best selling patterns.
It is made of 3/32" O1 & is 3/4" high.
The blade is 3" from tip to scales.
The handle is tan micarta with a brass pin & tube and is 3 5/8" long.
Full flat grind with a convex edge.
Same treatment for the sheath..wet formed then water proofed.
This'll make a great utility EDC or Bird and Trout knife.

$90.00 shipped.
