JK Marketplace

Hi John -

I don't understand why you would only put knives up for a week - After a week, they have dissapeared to the third page, nobody sees them, it`s better to do a repost later on.

The first rule of fishing is to keep your lure wet.

I would keep a couple up for sale all the time. I would also make knives that I am more sure that would sell - Kepharts, Campers etc.

You know what sells, and what designs take longer to find a buyer.

I have noticed that the chisel ground blades take longer to find that "right buyer". Never again will you see a chisel ground blade from me, I`ve learned my lesson on those!

Those are my thoughts, since you asked ;^)

Oh - I forgot about that change to the sorting - and you can't bump them up.

You could just have them for sale in a sticky or thread in your forum that you could keep bumping perhaps?

The chisel grind works a lot better than I would have thought for most cutting tasks, but it is right out for slicing in my experience.

Even on the emerson I have, it just does not like to slice well without a lot of patience and work.

Now if I wanted to hack a refrigerator in half..... ;^P
