I have been EDC'ing Stomper's Small Drop Point for the past several days.
This is a great knife to have in your pocket or on your belt for a quick jaunt to the store or a pleasant walk in the woods.
In John's own words "This is a simple design, 7" overall, with a 3" blade of either 3/32" or 1/8" O1."
Mine is 1/8" with a beautiful blood wood handle.
The knife arrived hair popping sharp with a well made sheath of heavy leather.
However, I work in the suburbs and as I am often around those who are ....let's say... less blade enlightened, I usually carry my knife in my pocket.
The JK small drop point fit perfectly in my Sharpshooter Hunter's Pocket Sheath. (sorry not picture. I'll try to post one later)
Today started with coffee with friends at the local branch of popular coffee purveyor. (sorry for the cell phone photo)

Later in the day I got out for a short hike at the local park.
It did well for a small knife in splitting some wood
Some nice curls for a fuzz stick
It performed admirably in making a notch
The broad point easily drilled a hole
On a previous trip with this knife, I had found some well dried bark.
I used the knife to shred the bark and decided to see if the spark-lite that I had was worth having in my kit.
The result after 2 or 3 turns of the wheel were a pleasant surprise.
