Hi folks -
I recently was given a nice little "tin knife" by John Kiedaisch - Stomper of JK Handmade Knives.
I really liked the little tin-knife, so called because John sizes them to fit inside an Altoids tin.
The knife I was given (as a prize at the most recent JK Gathering), has micarta handle scales and a nice little leather pocket sheath.
I liked the knife so much, I asked John to make me a tin-knife sized Kephart -
Here are pictures of the two knives I now have:
These knives are 01 tool steel, and are made just like John's full sized knives - that is to say they are nearly indestructible!
I currently have a mini-Nesmuk ordered to add to my collection.
John sells these for $55 with the nice little sheath - here is a link to the thread in the JK forum about these little "Knives for Keebler Elves" as John calls them:

I think I will order one for my wife - with pink handles, so she can throw it in her purse. She thinks these little knives are "cute".
best regards -
