The JK Toby's Knife,designed by BF member & friend KYenglish and is one of John's best selling patterns for 2013.
I love this knife & hate to have to sell it,it was my steak knife for the past year or more & my most used knife so it's been used & sharpened plenty & has the marks to show it.
I took most of the patina off with fine 000 scotch-brite so you can age it yourself as some folks like to do.
I did not try to take all the scratches out as it's a user meant to be used & I am selling it as such so some scratches from use remain & shouldn't matter IMO..all are well earned.
I also put renwax on the handle to darken & shine it up some.
It is made of 3/32" O1 & is 3/4" high.
The blade is 3" from tip to scales.
The handle is tan micarta with a brass pin & tube and is 3 5/8" long.
Full flat grind with a convex edge.
I wet formed the sheath then water proofed it with KIWI Outdoor boot waterproofer.
This'll make a great utility EDC or Bird and Trout knife.
John sells the plain blanks for this pattern for $75.00 so get it here already broken in with sheath for... $90.00 shipped.
