I won this JKM from the 5/19 DOD. That was last Friday. It was here today, Monday. I can't believe Yangdu's great service.

This is a knife was ambivelent about buying since I really didn't need another knife. Boy, am I glad I bought it. This is a Great Knife.

The sheath was double layer leather and a dangler. The knife is beautiful. Great finish, scandi style blade and a fantastic montana elk handle. Handle is full tang with elk scales plus a peened over pommel. Terrific. Solid feel. This knife really appeals to me and I wanted to share it with you.

I can't speak highly enough about it.

The kami mark is one I haven't seen. Can anybody identify it?

Thanks for looking.

Damn. I can't post attachments. WTF I am a platinum member. Now I've got to run. Can a moderator fix the attachmentd for me, I'll post the pics later.

We have all these new knives, but the JKM is still HI's stalwart woods companion.

Sorry Steve...I don't see any attachment...no broken link or anything there to work with.

I agree with you though...the JKM is an awesome "little" blade.

I still can't post attachments. Go figure?

Nuts.

My posting rules at the bottom say I may not post attachments.

Another problem with BF?

yea I have the same thing at the bottom of my thingy as well...Granted I almost NEVER post any pics but it is kinda disconcerting that I cant...

I really dig my JKM...If I ever get that "butterfly" sheath I been working on done I will post that...err or if I cant then I will just pout in the corner!!!

Everyone's attachment ability is temporarily disabled and there's a couple of other things that aren't working correctly either.

Steve, I'm glad you like the JKM-1, I'm a fan of 'em myself. I've long felt that they're just about a perfect "companion knife" to a khukuri, handling the karda role much better than the typical kardas that accompany khuks. Good little no-frills utility knives, solid, simple, and sharp. Yessir, I like 'em. :D

I've got two JKM's in antler and neem. MMM. Some of my favorites. I replaced the dangler on both. That design is just awesome.

The ability to post pics has been disabled until the pic database from the last server is determined to be a lost cause, or is restored. I posted in the tech support about this last night only to read that several people had posted the same and gotten that answer. Its supposed to be temporary.

Hi,

Of all the knives I have, the JKM-1 is a MUST. Don't leave home without it. It's truly is a "Jack of All Trades..."

Good luck, and enjoy...

Pick me up off the floor. I can attach files again. I wonder if I should take back all the bad things I said?

Steve,
Looks similar to the one that I have...I am pretty sure that the handle is slightly shorter on mine..

I REALLY need to find someone to put a choil on mine...Handle is small enough and the blade is sharp enough (THANKS STEVE F.!) to cause an ouchy!!!!

BTW...Can I have it??:D

Hi Dave:

I'll be glad to send you it's picture!

Say, that pocket holster of yours works real well.
