Hi jmsodpc,

I just wanted to let you know that I got my knives today. I'm really glad I orded three. I'm going to give my dad one.

They are the same size and dimintions as my Small Sebenza. The weight feels the same as well. I didn't weight them, but I can't tell any difference in the hand. The blade is 2 7/8" where the Sebenza is exactly 3". Locks up at about 30%, no blade play whatsoever and almost perfectly centered. I would not guess this was an eleven dollar knife.

Being the exact same size and weight as a Small Seb, if you weren't sure if the Seb is going to be a comfortable carry, what better way to find out than to carry something just like it.

I have two Sebenzas, a A.G. Russell Acies2, ZT 0550, Sypderco Techno and Kershaw Blur and several Leeks and I'm happy with this little F710. If I had bought only one the first time around I would turn around and buy three of them now.

P.S. No, jmsodpc didn't pay me to endorse this knife, I'm just impressed with the value for the price. I'll tie a nice lanyard on it before I give one to my dad, though, since it doesn't come with one. ;-)

Well, i love my SRM 710. been using it for about 3 years now. it's why i sold my 2 Sebenzas.
So i just purchased 1 of these Elans. But i wanted more than 1. So then i saw the link to buy 3. So i did that.
Now i have 4 coming ! Right on. Fantastic !
I've been giving SRM folders to friends and strangers (random act of kindness kinda thing). for most people it's the first truly sharp knife they have ever had or used. You don't forget the person who gave you your first really good knife.
So, buy lots !
