I got my PhD in experimental physics the week before BLADE, and am now working as a postdoctoral researcher. Once I've padded my C.V. a bit with some good publications, I'll begin the lengthy process of trying to score a tenure-track professor position.

I currently dedicate about half my time to mentoring/teaching students, and half of it to my own research.

I work at lenscrafters making glasses. I plan on taking the abo optitian test this upcoming november. its a low paying job with very little prestige, but it's easy and consistent where they work around your schedule a lot.

starting the cnc machining course this upcoming semester, and by next summer I'll have an a.s. and certification in structural/pipe welding, then it's on to the 2 year automotive a.s. program.

hopefully after the 3 years is up I'll be able to start work as a ase certified master automotive technician, and I'll be much farther along with my goal of getting completely out of debt.
