Layout design engineer (kind of like an unlicensed civil) for the local Telco.

30 years with the North Carolina Department of Corrections, retiring oct 1 at the rank of Correctional Captain, going to work with the North Carolina Gang Investigators Association as a Grant Writer.

All in an attempt to fund Infi, and any other steel that I cannot stand to live without...

Last 25+ years as some sort of Electrical Engineer, mostly in Hard Disk Drive development.

No degree, no 'formal' education, just blessed by the oportunity to work for some of the most briliant minds in the industry, learned a bit.

I do stuff for Uncle Sam and am pretty far along on my quest for a State Department position, preferably something close to that sexxay Hillary Clinton.:D

Designer....sounds fancier than it is. I design all that folded up origami cardboard you find when you buy a new playstation, X box, or exercise machine. I work at a box factory...just like Millhouse’s dad :D

I negotiate commercial real estate deals in NYC, mostly on the tenant side.

Employment opportunities tend to thin out when you get a political science degree from an art school. Prior to this I did everything from EMT/Ambulance driver, Retail watch salesman, Club bouncer (I think more for communication skills then size) and wilderness safety / swim instructor.

This current job is certainly the most hazardous though.

Manufacturer of automated & robotic equipment textile protective covers (broad definition, specialized applications) and speciality textile products.

IT Servicedesk, translating customer issues into tech language and vice versa; all after trying to solve the problem myself, off course ;)

I know, nothing fancy, but it's a steady position and it gave me the opportunity to enter a company supported program (real good deal !) to become a bachelor in commercial IT. That's what it is called in Dutch translated into English anywayzz :o

Thanks,

D-R
