jobs

I'm a former U.S. Marine. I once worked as a through freight conductor for the largest railroad in the country. I now work as a process technician (operator) for the largest refinery in the country. My years as a Marine are by far the best of my life, my only regret is that I didn't stay in longer than 5 years. For those of you who have served or are currently serving in one of the 5 branches of our military, thank you.

Semper Fidelis!

Mainly I'm a "code monkey" (programmer), and do systems development with a larger logistics company.
We do our own financial and fleet management programs.

Would love to work with motorbikes though, nothing like sitting in the shop wrenching.
Then again, perhaps the therapeutic effect of wrenching on my own bikes would be lost if I had it as a job?

Graphic designer, art director - creative group head(whatever it means...) at an advertising agency...so I make ads.:barf:

That could push a subway employee over the edge I would think.

Another Former Maine here. The last job I had made me wish I had stayed in. The treatment and advancement was way better and I would be 3/4 the way to retirement by now. Oh well you know what they say about hindsight

Currently I am an unemployed electronics tech, due to the down turn in the ecomomy. Decided that instead of sitting around and feeling sorry for myself I would go back to school to become an RN. I like fixing things and helping people.

Masters in Secondary Education, but I enjoy teaching middle school/junior high. Some day I'll be a park ranger...We all can dream right?!?

Former E5 M1 Tank Commander. Film & Media education. Now I'm 14+ years deep into a Software/IT Consulting career (Project Manager / Team Lead / Senior Analyst / etc).

Whiskey nut (Ryes and Bourbons), Longboarder, Snowboarder, Climber, Mountain Biker, lover of the ladies, voracious reader, and would-be writer when I have the time.

I've funded my Busse family addiction by trading and selling other knives I accumulated in the past.

Currently a stay at home daddy with two daughters. As much fun as it is it has been more challenging then I ever could of imagined. I'm thinking of jumping back into something sooner or later but I haven't a clue as to what yet. Probably going back to school for a bit too, we'll see.

EMT Intermediate, working on my Paramedic Degree. Should be done this time next year. That's after 7 years of college, 2 years as a Materials Tester for the DOT, and 5 years as a paid firefighter.

My business card says I'm a User Experience Engineer. I facilitate user interface testing for the leading online legal research provider, Westlaw.
I also provide basic tech support for my co-workers and open packages when someone need a knife. :)

Three times a year I lend a hand to the Busse crew. (Jerry thinks it's because I love his knives....but really it's so I get to hang out with Amy-0 a little more than the rest of you Hogs! :p)
