I have a very neat little Bali for sale. Signed by Jody Samson. Comes w/ original Bali-Song coccoon. The knife measures 4 1/4" closed, 7 1/4" open, and 2 1/2" blade. Overall it's in excellent condition. It has some minor marks in metal from handling, probably mostly from going in and out of nylon pouch. Blade edge doesn't look to have cut anything. Some scratching on blade where handles pivot, and some near spine where handles close, but not too much. Bolsters look very nice. Stag looks perfect. I have been told by a few Bali collectors that Jody Samson didn't really sign many blades. Additionally many of the people who told me this said the way it's roughly signed could mean this one his personally. I'm not trying to say this was his or sell it as his personal knife, this is just something I've heard from several collectors. Price includes UPS shipping with full insurance. Paypal accepted but add 3%, MO's or checks okay too.

Price Drop $1000 SOLD!

Cool little knife :)....

The signature is definitely authentic, but there is no such thing as a Balisong that was Jody's "Personal Knife". He never carried swingers at all EVER.., but of course he usually had a few laying around his shop. Never had any personal Balisongs he kept though. Those he did keep were simply to give to friends.

The only sharp stuff Jody has ever carried regularly are swords and retro type fighters to Ren-Faires. He doesn't typically carry a knife, and never has.

Since you are "Local" to where Jody did a lot of his work, my guess is someone brought it by his shop for him to sign, or it's one of Mike Stewart's strays :) Being a 3" model makes me think it was an "In-House" knife for a while, and Jody would sign them for most any PCC or BM employee that asked. Oddly enough, not that many did....<go figure>....

There are LOTS more Balisongs Jody signed than people think...(probably around 250-300 total).., but they are certainly very rare relatively speaking.

Good luck with the sale..., nice piece! That stag looks great.

Thank you for the info!! I had some serious doubts this was one he personally owned or carried, because I couldn't imagaine it would be in circulation. Thanks again!
