Joe Allen "BackPocket" (Bose Pattern)

Oh, and remember: "Oil the joint." :p

Nice pocket watch also.

Did that first thing.

The watch was my maternal great-grandfather's.

It was given to me by my grandfather before he died in 1962.

It's an American Waltham (William Ellery movement) from the 1870's.

The watch was stolen from my home when I was in my teens. Months later my little sister found it where the guys who robbed our apartment must've dropped it while making their getaway. How it sat there all that time without being discovered beats all. (I had prayed for its return but that's another story.) It's about my most valuable possession besides my grandfather's mandolin. (He's the one that got me started with knives as a kid. Naturally, I lost all the little pen knives he gave me back then in the late 50's early 60's.)

Dang, Blues, you've got me wanting it back now:D Actually, the only consolation is that I have a few more coming:thumbup: I hope Joe sees this great thread. Also, Blues, I agree with your remark that Joe's work is right up there with Ray Cover and others. I particularly love the way Joe executes his blade grinds and nail nicks...Good Work Joe--Keep it up and don't let all this praise you got here go to your head:D

I'm glad to be on Joe's list, it's sure to get longer with each new knife posted :)

I really like his swedges, very spiffy...
