Joe Allen Slim Line Trapper

Here's one Joe made for me a good while back...of course it has moved on now, but I have another one on deck with jigged bone. This earlier model didn't have a half stop, but I understand from Joe this newer one and mine coming will have half stops.

Darwin,I really like the pattern.The slanted bolster is nice on that one,too.

Vince, I didn't realize the bolster difference until I dug up my old pic. Glad to see Joe back on the scene. It sounds like he has a few on deck again and Joe's jigged bone is fabulous:thumbup:

Yes it is good to see him around ,very talented.He aims to please.He now is putting the pivot bushing in these new knives. This one has a great action.
Can hardly wait to see your new upcoming knife from him.

Very nice knife indeed. Have not much to add to the other posts but had to coment on such a peace.

That would make me want to pony up some $$$ and finally purchase a custom slippie. I like the blade configuration on this one.
