$260 for this Joe Allen. The holiday season is just around the corner. Picture yourself slicing off a big piece of fruit cake with a new Joe Allen Trapper.

I am not familiar with Joe Allen. I collect knives from Bose, Shadley etc. What can you tell me about his knives in general and his construction in particular.

Well Joe may not be at the same level as Bose and Shadley but few makers are, however, he makes a great knife in my opinion and many share that opinion. Do a search for Joe Allen in the Traditional forum and you will find many positive comments about his work. Buy it, you will be pleased.
