Nice large chopper. I was told he made these from spring steel. Just under 1/4" thick. Blade is ~9 1/2" long with ~8" edge length. Hemp wrapped handle feels great in the hand. Only lightly used a couple of times- a little bit of patina but the edge is still very sharp. Has a nice heavy duty leather sheath.
