I am seeking information on Joe Luiz, an east coast scrimshander, whose signed work on ivory scales seems to be found on many custom knives. I have been unable to find any information on this artist. Is he still working? Does anyone have contact information for him? Many thanks in advance-

joe luiz was an artist from the newport rhode island area he retired about 10 years ago i have one of his knives it's the star of india knife its a folding kinfe with fossil walrus tusk. beautiful
