  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I should have known better. I was just playing with some today! I'm trying to figure out why the shapes are so popular in different countries. Those 14" are for friends and family to trade with :) hint hint.

I was just playing with some of them today !

DAMN Joe! What'd he do? Bring home one of everything they make? :D

You have no idea how envious of him I am right now...there are so many of those patterns I'm dying to try out, but you just can't get them without going to the source! What the heck is that huge bulbous one I wonder...It looks almost like a snow knife, but it can't be that.

I picked one or two bramble-ly ones for you my matey.

Dude, you rock! :D :thumbup: Seriously, though, what's that huge super fat-nosed one? I've seen pictures of Inuit snow knives that looked nearly identical, and I guess they're quite rare. I wonder what tasks that one's used for?

the one I grinned about? They are usually at an angle, not straight, and used for cutting grass

Yeah, the one I saw is like this, though I doubt the whole "snow machete" story the ebay seller has.

Really cool design though! It's kind of hard to read visually...the thing looks like it's in perspective or something! Sort of like this yixing teapot!

They are normally bent, and used as a costa rican grass cutting machete.

The total comes to around 78, there are probably 5 to seven more in the cars that I didn't photograph.

sheesh. I don't know how long 70 people can hold off the zombie hoarde but at least we know joe and his buds will go down fighting...

Joe, you may not realize this, but they do make blades that are less then a foot long.... honest :)

Wow, holy screamin monkey's Batman, thats a alot of machetes!

Yep, the shorts are too tight, but as long as you just cut grass with the big blade, you'll do fine.
