Joe P.

Sorry to hear that.

I still remember my favorite dog fondly.

Dogos are a favorite breed of mne along with Ridgebacks, so I was always happy, when Joe Paranee posted pics of the rascals. Last I saw the pic of Tuco, was when the intruder was being mentioned and I thought, if there ever was a dog to have in that situation, it would be a Dogo.

Nothing to do but to go get a puppy. Always difficult when you feel your dogs cant be replaced but a puppy will help ease the pain - not least for your daughters.

My brother, I hurt for you. I've had this experience too many times, as well.

A different side of this, however, is that due to the brevity of their lives, we are granted the unique ability to act as stewards and companions to many dogs over our own just slightly longer lives.

Remember your past pups, but jump right back into the fray with another. It will never fill the ragged hole of missing the the previous dogs, but it does help take the edge off.

Joe,

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. My sincere sympathy to you and your family.

It is a very hard experience.

My thoughts are with you and your family.

seems like a great dog. Any man who likes dogs, knives/swords, and bows, and really understands all three, pretty much has to be a good man.
Peace go with you, brother.

I'll speak for myself but, I think some of you may agree, my pets mean much more to me than most humans.

With that said, I'm heartbroken for you and your family my friend. I can only imagine the pain and grief you all are experiencing.

God Bless Tuco and may God Speed you all through this. Many condolences and sorrow for your loss.

May Tuco Rest In Peace. [emoji22]

Sorry for your loss, my Brother.

Nothing else said can even come close.

Smoke sent.

Sorry to hear of your loss Joe. It is a difficult thing to make that decision. We've got it coming up in the near future too (I can hear her snoring as she sleeps on the floor behind me... shes aged a lot last couple of weeks) and I just had to put the best horse I ever threw a saddle over down a few months back. Its tough.

Thanks for sharing those great pics. Your girls must be devasted too.

Sorry to hear Joe. It's one of the hardest things to do.

Hug the girls tight and read them the rainbow bridge.

It's a hard thing to say goodbye. Maybe it's a little simplistic, but I can't help thinking how much more rich the dog's life can be along with what they do for ours. It's sad to see them hurt and more so to have it all come to an end. BUT-wow, what a run... Dogs are incredible animals; so capable, smart, and caring. Having spent so much time training dogs, I see your pictures and words about your dogs and smile to myself. I can't help believe that working dogs being trained and put to use makes for such a full and wonderful life for them. Add to that these are pack animals who got to be part of your family and enjoy the affection. You're a great example of a great dog owner and those dogs would have been at the top of the list for being thankful. Here's to the good times had, Joe. I'm really sorry for your loss, take care.
