Yes. You read correct. These are custom maker Joe Pardue's new production knives. At SHOT, Joe called my hotel room by mistake [his father was across the hall from me] and the call ended with he and I arranging to meet the next day. He gave me a couple samples of his new production knives, from the very first shipment he received just 2 weeks prior to the SHOT show.
Joe is having these knives made in Taiwan and they list for $49.95. The first knife is a reproduction of Joe's toggle opener folder with a 3 inch 440A blade, stainless liners, and molded and textured Zytel scales.
These are very well made knives, lockup is excellent and fit/finish is very nice per the CRKT stuff. Joe is understandably very excited about these knives and has more knives in the works for production. Blue Ridge Knives and Moteng are the distributors handling these knives so you dealers out there might want to get one or two in just to see the quality.
