This has been my experience also. I went through Airborne school in 1982, and most of the guys in my stick were Seals. Back then, I had never heard of a Seal, but after watching what they could do physically, and after many great conversations in the barracks, I found out. Great bunch of guys, and extremely unassuming.

I'm glad they are on our side. :D
 
Why would SEALS be in basic Airborne? They are long since qualified jumpers.

They don't have their Trident yet when they attend Airborne school. I went through Airborne school at Benning in 1989 and had quite a few SEAL candidates in my platoon.
 
Teti is a douche bad with a little mans complex, who's fan base retreated like his hair line. Matt was a keeper as well as Cody and Dave for that matter. Bill sucks and Grade is clueless. The show is a waste of time now. I'm just over it...
 
An ex GF of my her dad was in the marine recon. He was asked to volunteer, I guess he was that much of a bad ass. He never talked about anything he done all I know about it is what she told me and the pics and medals she showed me. He always said the only people who will understand him are the ones who been there with him. As for training he done marine recon training, navy seal training hallo training green berets training which he said was the hardest training he had done airborne training and the army rangers training. If you looked at him, he is 5-7 and in a way sort of goofy looking and always joking. He just don't look like it and don't talk big and tough.
once I asked him why he don't own a gun. He looked at me and said if I need a gun I would just take yours, I believed him.
He never had to prove anything or impress anyone and never talked big. If anything he preferred to not talk about anything. If only half of the things my GF told me was true I'm sure most of you would be impressed.
I have a lot of respect for him and I told him. He been there and done things you wont see in the movies.

alewn you got no idea what you talking about. Have you ever heard of the saying that its better to keep your mouth closed to not prove something to everyone.
 
^^^ that seems to be the whol premise of this thread. Teti and his shadiness. I've met lots of petiole whom asserted they were "seals" or, more common around my area, "Rangers". No harm in asking that question Alewn. Seems like he was asking for clarification.
 
At this point, I really don't see the need to put down Teti. I will just let the civil process work its course. But I never cared much for him myself.

Because they need to get started somewhere. We had SEALS, USMC Force Recon and Air Force PJs and Combat Controller in my basic Airborne Class back in Mar87, oh shoot, showing my age now (lol).

SEALS aint Army, for starters. If they were "just getting started", then they weren't SEALS.

I've read quite of few of your posts lately. Are you intentionally trying to alienate everyone here? You seem to be going out of your way to make enemies ...... BF folks are some of the coolest (and most seriously capable) individuals anywhere on the web. If you would simply act in a civil manner, you would have quite an opportunity to learn...

They are SEAL candidates. Try to keep up as I'm getting tired of your bullshit. Every post you make you intentionally act like an ass. You have no idea what you're talking and should really just STFU.
