A few weeks back maker Joel Chamblin had a beautiful slip-joint knife in his Hiker design listed for sale. I loved the looks of her and the F&F looked to be outstanding. The knife has already been sold, so I decide to contact Joel directly to have him make me a similar one. He answered my emails immediately and even had no problem in changing the scale material color a few day after confirming the order. Unbelievably, he completed the knife in less than 2 weeks and was ready to ship her out. Upon receiving her, the knife is beautiful and has exceeded my expectations. His CS is equal to the superior product that he makes. Joel has been making knives for many years and it clearly shows, but he also has not forgot about his customers. In a day when it is sometimes difficult to even have some makers return your emails ever, this is just exemplary. Just a true class gentleman and outstanding traditional custom slip-joint maker!
