Joel Chamblin is a US based maker who continues this tradition, fashioning hand made traditional slip joint knives with the utmost precision and the use of the finest materials. The blades open smoothly but with just the right amount of firmness, then hit their stops with a satisfying click. The blades have no play or rubbing, and have a wonderful hand rubbed satin finish. Wonderfully tactile and a reminder of how things can still be made with the appropriate passion and skill applied. As a result Mr Chamblins work is sort after by collectors of fine custom pocket knives all over the world. Condition is mint, unused.
