I have a mint condition Joel Pirela/Brian Tighe Primal framelock flipper folder with machine-engraved titanium handle slabs and a satin finished BG-42 blade for sale. Most of you reading probably already know this, but Joel Pirela is perhaps the most well-known custom knife designer today, and his models are always unique and flow very well visually. This Primal is #6 in the limited run of 20. The entire run is sold out.

The Primal is built by Brian Tighe, and it is built big and tough, with a 5/32" thick blade that is 4 1/8" long and a titanium slab frame lock. The handle is ergonomically contoured and fits comfortably in the hand.

The Primal listed here has never been carried, used, or resharpened, and its original edge from Brian is sharp. The flip action is very smooth, and I am able to flip the knife completely open in any position, even vertical. The lock-up is rock solid, and the blade centering is just about dead perfect.

For payment on this piece, I strongly prefer USPS money orders, but I will also accept PayPal or personal check if I know you. If you are paying by PayPal, I will cover the fees, but the payment has to be sent with a PayPal-confirmed address (including the green "confirmed" marker) listed in the invoice, and I will only ship to that PayPal-confirmed address. I reserve the right to wait for personal checks to clear before I ship.

I will consider trades (with appropriate cash adjustment) for custom folders and custom balis. I am especially interested in the following makers:

JL Williams
Tim Galyean
Charles Marlowe
Bob Lum
Sal Manaro
Kit Carson
Deryk Munroe
Gerry McGinnis
Scott Cook
Jim Burke
Ernie Emerson
Rick Hinderer
Jim Smyth
DB Fraley
Matt Cucchiara
Todd Begg
Tom Mayo
Neil Blackwood
Ken Onion
Phil Boguszewski
Flavio Ikoma (balis only)
Mauricio Dobruski (balis only)

I may consider trades for other custom folders not listed above. However, I am not interested in serrated blades, production knives, or fixed blades other than those by John Young or Russ Andrews.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
