on the tube.

No opinion on the results, just sharing that the video is up.

Will someone please send that man a HOGB8 or a Scrapyard Son Of Dogfather (SOD). He breaks everything eventually, I Wanna see him work his a$$ off for it.:D

RMD destruction video is coming in the next week or so.

I thought it did pretty well. And of course it broke. But that is the point of Joe’s testing, to break the blade and find all of its weaknesses. And nothing survives the iron rod. Honestly the most important data in my opinion comes from the car test and tip test. Some of his blades that survive those are surprising to say the least. Regardless, if you watch the majority of his videos he exposes many design flaws from pretty much every manufacturer. I think he’s putting in the leg work pretty much no one else is willing to.

Most Important data….from attacking a car like a monkey? And trying to break a knife at their thinnest point?

No design flaws are found as he uses the knives for things outside of their designs.

When he threatened to slap snot bubbles out of peoples faces…..that downward spiral was hilarious to watch.

I would agree and disagree. A lot of knives he tests are marketed as “combat” or “survival” knives. I think he tests those style of knives in an appropriate manner. Not to name any names but “blops” knives are consistently marketed as mentioned above. Yet they seem to consistently not perform.

I agree with you a 100%.
I really didn't think I'd like his videos as much as I do.
i don't see it as a bad thing. When sh*t breaks...
It's good to know our limitations, I wish I could make him a knife to break.

Just wish he'd get some Euro -thrash babes on there.....
so we don't have to see Him do the splits all the time!

What makes this irrelevant is that there is no consistency. I've said it already. I can wack with one knife at half power and the next at full power and you wont know the difference.
No consistency, no measurable results, no comprehension of stress fractures, no understanding of blade geometry, no class, no forethought, no objectivity, etc.

Not to mention he has a very clear bias against anything with a following or that he deems to be "overpriced".

I have no problem with testing knives until they're destroyed, but to create an actual test you have to put thought and effort into it. There needs to be clear parameters and measurements. There's nothing useful about what he does.

He flails around like an obnoxious attention seeking teenager trying to prove how tough he is to impress his friends. It probably won't be long before he starts farting on camera and claiming his dick is bigger than everyone else's.

Personally, I think he's an insufferable buffoon and I refuse to watch any of his antics. I don't want to contribute to his channel in any way.

The knife performed pretty great when compared to other knives of its thickness and length etc.

But there’s a comment saying how you could buy 4 junglas for the price of that mistress.

1. That’s not true. They’re piggy backing this idea that all Busses are $800+ which is a gross exaggeration.

2. The junglas broke way quicker than the Busse, and Joe said the junglas sucked when he tested it.
Yet now he’s saying it’s good and better than Busse.

His goal is to ruffle the feathers of anyone he can.
And his commenters at this point are 95% trolls that are upset at knife prices and want validation for their choice of cheaper knives being “just as good”

more power to them for getting something in the lower budget that they enjoy. But the random influx of hate towards Busse and its customers can be chalked up to weird jealously. So they’re trying to bait the fans into a keyboard match.

Personally I’m not feeding into it.

“Never argue with an idiot, they’ll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.”

And if you’re someone who refuses to talk about or even acknowledge the scientific evidence of the different physics of steel. You are choosing to be less informed, ie: an idiot.

All attention is good attention, all those haters are doing is bringing more folks that had never heard of Busse.
I have been getting comments recently about how custom knives in x steel are a rip off because they are "charging hundreds for $12 worth of materials"

These types sadly will always be with us and they will NEVER make and sell ANYTHING on their own and learn the true value of anything.

Seems to be a common occurrence with catastrophic failure.

I was super impressed how it handled the car that windshield support section is one of the tougher sections of the car
Edge held up great

I want to see how an original BME performs in contrast. I can’t confirm, but I think that had a different infi composition
Pre 2005 ? Regardless geometry is one of the main aspects a lot of people still can’t seem to understand. Those YouTube commentators are absolute buffoons.

^ That pre 2005 idiot may not realize that if anything was changed in the INFI formula im sure it was done for the better; i dont believe there is skimping or economy when your in this kind of realm of knife. That nerd makes it out like that change made the knife less tough or cheaper than the original. And funny enough, the slightly more econonical division (sycko swamp rat ) are just as tough.I just hate that they are giving the impression that Busse is just overpriced hype.
