Joezilla, others: snake ID?

Yep, definitely a brown water snake. Knew it as soon as I saw the pic. We have a bunch of them here as well and people mistake them for poisonous snakes all the time. I watched one spend 3 days on a log laying across a small pond down on the coast. He had eaten a massive fish and just laid there digesting. Every time I went to the pond he was there and then on the 4th day he was gone. Never seen a snake stay still that long.
 
Not sure if this is the same one or not. It is smaller than your's.
