Sadly, Canadian Customs has held on to the package and it doesn't seem to be willing to let it go.
I tried contacting the USPS but they are unwilling to help because I didn't pay for that privileged up front.
According to what I've read, they would hold it for 5 days and after that it is locked up and sent out to auction.
No wonder US companies are unwilling to ship internationally. I have no clue what to do about it at this point... I'm sad!

Happens all the time for secondary inspection. It can take weeks to filter through the system but I can't imagine there was anything in the package that would cause a problem when they see the contents.

It's happened to knives I've bought and they've all gotten to me. You can tell because the boxes were opened and then resealed with CBSA tape.

That's what Un-Chained Un-Chained said too.
I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best.
Until then, I'll just write them off as lost and decide what to do later.

They are inconsistent!!! I've had an incoming package held for 6 weeks!! By Customs!!
I found out they had a whole container they hadn't even opened yet!!! Grrr!!
Then I've had a package worth over $400 slide on through straight to me with no duty, unopened by CBSA!! Go Figger!! 😲 🤔
