Back in the late 80's or early 90's, "The American Historical Foundation" put out a series of Ek Commemorative knives called "The American Elite Forces Collection". There were six in this series: US Army Special Forces - green grip, US Army Rangers - black grip, US Navy Seals - white grip,
US Air Force Air Special Service - blue grip, US Army Air Borne - maroon Grip, US Marines Force Recon - brown grip.
Have any of you ever collected any of these knives ? If yes, and you have the US Air force blue grip model, and US Navy Seals white grip model,
Would it be possible for you to post a nice photo of each ? I cannot find a good photo of these two models any where.
Also, any information about these knives would be helpful. I have the US Army Ranger model and The US Army Special Forces Model.

Thank you,
C. Howell

I have the whole set. I opted for the large plaque to display all 6 together, instead of the individual glass covered boxes. They are in my son's safe right now. I will look for pics on my computer. I'll let you know if I get lucky. :D

Thank you sams,
If you can find some pictures, I would really appreciate it.
Also, about the white grip on the US Navy Seal knife, Can you describe it to me - as to what it is like ?
Does it look like nice white Micarta ? Any kind of Transluscence at all ? Is it like ivory, flat white ? More like Bone ? Like white plastic ?
Or more like Pearl ? Does the material have any shine to it ? Or is it just a flat non reflective white ?
The reason I ask is that I may have a chance to buy one of these, but the picture of the white grip
is not very good.

Thank you

The white grip is identical in the shape as the others, some what squarish with the "relief" cut into the handle. I lost the pics on my old files, sorry. I will see if I can get more taken. the color is solid white, a soft white. It does not look like ivory. It is not translusence, or too bright. The blade has the gold etching as the others, quite nice. Being an ex Team guy, I was a little disappointed with white. It is not the color we used on our knives. :-)
