Here's a nice little fighter bowie by Big John Fitch. Of course, "little" is a relative term - while this knife would no doubt look a touch on the small side in the hands of the man who made it, with its 6 1/2" blade of forged 1084, convex ground edge and beefy stag handle it is in fact a stout sharp piece of cutlery that looks and feels ready for a wide variety of tasks.

These two pics were taken using Murray's most excellent light tent.

Here's an additional pic of the handle:

So you're the guy who grabbed that one from KnifeArt, huh?

Well you've got good instincts, my friend, and a quick trigger finger too.

I love that knife, and your pictures are great too. Thanks for posting!

When did you pick that one up?

Big John makes some awesome stuff, doesn't he? :)

Thanks guys. Danbo - as to where I got it - Wulf was right on the money.

Cheers,

Roger

Roger, you got a good eye. So far your knives are top-grade and beautiful. Nice choice here! It looks sleek. Fitch's knives have that great handle proportion and taper. He, too, has a good eye for shape.

Nice score. :)

I am #$%^&*()#$% speechless..................

That would have to be the nicest damn bowie I have ever ever seen...

Will you marry me?

:D

Danbo! Are you seeing this man!

Fantastic looking knife, but is it just me or does the guard look to small for this knife? Regardless it's a great looking knife.

That knife Rocks! The flow of the whole overall piece is supurb! Excellent piece of stag also.

I think the guard looks great, but it would also look great if it was a little bigger. Either way, this is one fantastic knife.

That's a beauty alright...(big surprise...lol)...very nice knife! Congratulations! :)

That knife would only look better, if it was sitting in my hands! :)
