John Fitzen Frankenstein ( Picture heavy)

i have a machete out of a lawn mower blade that tops this. im sry that any1 would waiste their hard earned money on this knife.

Frmacastan,

How is your machete better than this Frankenstein? I love my Frankenstein, and don't feel I wasted my hard earned money on it. The balance and ergonomics of it are very good, especially for a knife so heavy. I don't see how it can be reasonably compared to a machete because large fighting bowies and machetes are designed to do different things. I imagine that your improvised machete is better at hacking light vegetation, whereas the Frankenstein is better for heavy chopping and breaking/disarming other knives.

Stabman,

Breaking? No. That assertion is based on the Frankenstein's tested (by me) chopping ability, along with the fact that it is thick 5160 steel. As far as disarming goes, I have trained with one of John's wooden Frankenstein trainers and it DOES disarm other knives. I have and have also trained with a Keating Crossada trainer. That works as well.
