Here is a smaller bowie style knife by former Guild member John Fuller with a rare Johnson sheath that is my understanding was made by the senior Johnson(father). Supposedly you can tell by the stitching? Beats me but it is an old Johnson made sheath that goes with bowie here. This knife as again is my understanding made in the 70's, with walnut scales i think
.
Almost a near mirror finish. Superbly sharp, about 5.5" to the double guard, nickel silver for the guard and about the best solder line I"ve seen. The blade is about .125" thick with about a 4.75" handle and the tang is tapered. Extremely light weight and very quick in the hand. The handles show a very tiny amount of shrinkage over time. I mean minute amount but there if you rub finger pad across the scales where they are mated to the tang.
SOLD American! and a fine knife if there ever was one!
