Gage Tactical Gladius. I hate to let this go. This is a full custom. I believe John was doing some mid-tech pieces, but this is one of his custom models.
Here are the specs from John's website:
Hollow-ground 1/4" 5160 steel, heat treated to a spring temper suited for this type of sword.
Blade is 16" hollow ground double edge blade with a center fuller. Overall length 22"
Weight : 1 lb. 10 oz. Balance point is 3" from the grip.
Black G10 handles.
John Gage crafts a superb sword. The dealer I got this from listed it as "built for the real world". It feels amazing in the hand and swings through the air with ease. Other than a few swipes through the air, I have never used, carried, or re-sharpened it. There are some light shop marks on the blade.
I did not get a kydex sheath with this one. I am sure John could hook you up with one, however this just screams for some nice leather.
Price is $825>>$800 $OLD SHIPPED! Less than it originally cost from John and with no wait. MO or paypal (would appreciate the gift option or help out with the fees if you can). I strongly prefer NOT to ship this internationally. I need the cash and am not really interested in trades. However I may consider custom knives or various Bussekin blades plus cash. Customs I may be interested in: Jones Bros., Dav Winch, Shane Sibert, Matt Cucchiara.
