Over 2 years ago I bought a Whisper folder from John and gave it to my son at Christmas, then bought another one for myself a month or so later. My son's knife soon got to where it had a bit of play in it when locked open, and I emailed John to let him know there was a problem. He made a suggestion as to how I might fix it, but also stated his willingness to repair it if I sent it to him. It was obvious from looking at the 2nd knife I bought that the first one was flawed. Last week I finally sent the knife back to John, and since he didn't seem to have what he needed to fix it on hand (he would have needed to either replace the blade or build up the locking surface with some weld), he decided to send me a brand new knife -- PLUS he returned the original one. All this for his standard $15 shipping fee plus a $15 service fee. Quite generous of him, given that the knife was over 2 years old and had been carried and used almost daily.

John Greco has a long-established reputation as a good guy to do business with -- and it's still true.
