Here's a custom slipjoint folder from John. This one is a modern take of a canoe. His rendition, makes a really nice modern looking gents knife, with a great size drop point blade. The blade folds into the handle in a way that makes it really slim & trim for pocket carry.
It is 3.25" closed, open,it is 5-5/8". The blade is 2.5" from tip to bolster, with a 2.25" cutting edge.Milled one piece ss bolster & liner construction.Pinned ss shield. Rich looking brownish - maroonish hand jiged & dyed bone, with perfect domed ss pins.Hand rubbed satin finish on the hollow ground ATS-34 ss blade, with a cut in swedge, crescent nail nick. Bolsters have a nice satin finish.Nice even pull, not too hard, not too soft. No blade play, spring is flush in a 3 positions(half stop tang).Blade centers perfect w/ closed.Nice little EDC knife here,as new condition, only handled a little,,was a safe queen,no wait
Makers price $360, shipping ,insured,Con US included

Finally,a slipjoint maker builds a custom pattern, that's a great office carry by day,and has a drop point big enough to carve the backstraps out of that roadkill whitetail on the drive home from work that eve  .
This is as low as I can go.
Thank You,
-Vince :)
